Soccer Game Preview: LaFayette vs. Gilmer

For the first time this season, LaFayette will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gilmer Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: LaFayette has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Gilmer will arrive with three straight wins.

Friday just wasn't the day for LaFayette's offense. They lost 4-0 to Trion on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilmer). They put the hurt on Dawson County with a sharp 9-1 victory on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

LaFayette's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gilmer, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
