Southwest entered their tilt with Hitchcock County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Roughriders have posted against the Falcons since October 13, 2020.

Southwest's offense was headlined by Anikka Nelms and Kyra Nelms, who picked up 16 kills apiece. They got some help from Aspen Billeter and her 32 assists. Caitlyn Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Southwest's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Hitchcock County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Southwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Overton on the 27th. As for Hitchcock County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Chase County on the 27th.
