Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southwest improves its record to 15-2 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Overton (Overton, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 13-1. Overton lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Amherst (Amherst, NE)

The Falcons now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chase County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Hitchcock County will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-8.
