The Southwest Roughriders volleyball squad (Bartley, NE), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Overton Eagles (Overton, NE)

With the win, Overton improves its record to 19-2 on the season. The Eagles host Gibbon (Gibbon, NE) to encounter the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Buffaloes go into the test with a record of 1-17. Gibbon lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE)

The Roughriders now own a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Patrick's for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7.
