Soccer Game Preview: Woodside vs. Aragon

The Woodside Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Aragon Dons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Woodside took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past Hillsdale 1-0. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Abigail Clarke.

Meanwhile, Aragon hasn't lost a match since January 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor Menlo-Atherton could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Aragon's record moves to 8-2-3. As for Woodside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-5.
