Football Recap: Linganore Takes Down North Hagerstown in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Linganore rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the North Hagerstown Hubs. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won eight games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Bradly Matthews produced another solid effort rushing for 37 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 14 times he's played.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Linganore proved: they limited North Hagerstown to a paltry two yards per carry. The Lancers' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.3.

The win keeps Linganore at an undefeated 10-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average this season. As for North Hagerstown, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Linganore wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 43-0 win against City College on the 21st. North Hagerstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
