Softball Recap: Tucker Comes Up Short

The matchup between Tucker and Miller Grove on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers lost 29-6 to the Wolverines. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost seven in a row.

Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Miller Grove, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Tucker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller Grove, they will take on Mundy's Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.8 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
