Soccer Recap: San Leandro Takes a Loss

San Leandro managed to keep up with Freedom until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. 2025 welcomed the San Leandro Pirates with a 4-1 loss courtesy of the Freedom Falcons. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

San Leandro's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Freedom, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Leandro will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Lorenzo at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th. As for Freedom, they will square off against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
