Baseball Recap: Meadowcreek Takes a Loss

Meadowcreek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Rockdale County Bulldogs, falling 12-3. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Meadowcreek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Piner, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4. Yahir Corea also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rockdale County, their record is now 2-7.

Coming up, Meadowcreek will square off against Discovery at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rockdale County, they will take on Archer at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Archer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
