After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northgate, Lovejoy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Langston Hughes Panthers 22-13. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Kennedi Harley was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, six stolen bases, and five runs. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. Kerri Moore was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.

Lovejoy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .566. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

With the win, Lovejoy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Langston Hughes, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.
