Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Paulding walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Tift County Blue Devils with a sharp 9-2 win on Wednesday. The Wolfpack might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

North Paulding is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Tift County, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.

North Paulding will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
