Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They breezed past the West Park Panthers to the tune of 72-44 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Kennedy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kacie Shinmoto out in front who went 9-for-16 en route to 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Shinmoto is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Kaylee Wong was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 22 points and nine boards.

Kennedy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Park only eight offensive rebounds.

Despite the loss, West Park still got an impressive performance from Lauren Weis, who posted five points.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for West Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season.
