Baseball Recap: Shaw Wins Going Away Against Jordan

Shaw never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Jordan on Tuesday. They blew past the Red Jackets 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Deshaun Mays was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Isaiah Copeland was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Shaw's record is now 9-6. As for Jordan, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaw will host Upson-Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jordan, they will be playing at home against Callaway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
