Softball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Le Mars Bulldogs, falling 13-1. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bulldogs since on Friday.

Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Le Mars, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-5.

Spencer has already played their next game (against Sioux City North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Le Mars, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-1 loss against Newell-Fonda on the 28th.
