East Jackson's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Hart County on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 12-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drew Richardson was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Cassidy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

East Jackson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

East Jackson's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Hart County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.
