Football Recap: Kaiser Takes a Loss

Kaiser's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 37-14 to the Granite Hills Cougars. While the Cats had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Cougars 7-3.

Aamir Sneed had a dynamite game For Granite Hills., rushing for 203 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 76 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Sneed really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run. Another player making a difference was Kaylen Edwards, who picked up 59 receiving yards and one TD.

Kaiser now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Granite Hills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Kaiser will square off against Claremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Granite Hills, they will challenge Hawthorne at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
