Football Preview: Dobson Mustangs vs. Sunnyslope Vikings

The Dobson Mustangs will face off against the Sunnyslope Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dobson has given up an average of 26.7 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dobson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Goldwater on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Mustangs had to suffer through a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Dobson had strong showings from Joriyn Winston, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Preston Brunsvold, who threw for 92 yards and one TD.
