Volleyball Recap: Springer Takes a Loss

If Springer was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cimarron on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils came up short against the Quemado Eagles on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Springer's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Quemado, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Coming up, Springer will take on Des Moines at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Quemado, they will take on Melrose in a tournament on Saturday.
