Springer suffered their biggest loss since October 4th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Quemado Eagles. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Brenna Duran paced Springer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Duran got some help from Abigail Eppler and her 24 assists. Finally, Duran was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Springer's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Quemado, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Springer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Logan on the 1st. As for Quemado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Melrose on the 1st.
