Recap: Notre Dame Spirits vs. Marina Mariners
The Notre Dame Spirits scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-39 win over Marina. Notre Dame pushed the score to 46-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mariners cut but never quite recovered from.
Aveena Ducusin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with seven assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Francesca Rossi, who scored 12 points.
Notre Dame now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Marina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Notre Dame will head out on the road to square off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzales is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Marina will take on the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
