Soccer Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Quincy managed to keep up with Whittell until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trojans came up short against the Warriors, falling 7-4. Quincy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Whittell apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Quincy and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Whittell, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Quincy will venture away from home to take on Truckee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whittell, they will challenge West Wendover at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whittell will be up against West Wendover's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.8 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
