Baseball Recap: North Newton Comes Up Short

North Newton fell victim to Kouts and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Mustangs & Fillies. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Mustangs & Fillies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

North Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Kouts, the win (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Newton will square off against South Newton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kouts, they will take on Washington Township at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
