Softball Game Preview: Bacon County Raiders vs. Crisp County Cougars + How To Watch

The Bacon County Raiders will square off against the Crisp County Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Bacon County: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Crisp County has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Bacon County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Appling County on Tuesday. They lost 8-2 to the Pirates.

Meanwhile, Crisp County got themselves on the board against Dougherty on Wednesday, but Dougherty never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 17-0 victory. The game marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season.

Bacon County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Crisp County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Everything went Bacon County's way against Crisp County in their previous matchup back in August, as Bacon County made off with a 13-2 win. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
