Baseball Game Preview: Heard County Braves vs. Bremen Blue Devils

Heard County is 1-9 against Bremen since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Heard County will be playing in front of their home fans against Bremen at 5:30 p.m. Heard County has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Heard County is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Pepperell, falling 13-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bremen). Everything went their way against Temple on Friday as Bremen made off with a 16-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Aiden Price was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Palmer, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bremen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .533. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Heard County's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Bremen, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
