Softball Recap: Rabun County Gets the Win

While Rabun County's win against Towns County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats won by a run and slipped past the Indians 7-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Presley Burrell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, River Evans was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Shirley, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
