West Valley is 9-1 against Central Valley since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the West Valley Eagles challenge the Central Valley Falcons at 7:30 p.m. West Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Central Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

West Valley took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 46-41 W over Lassen.

Meanwhile, Central Valley lost to Yreka at home by a 54-37 margin on Friday. The Falcons have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

West Valley's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.6 points. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Everything came up roses for West Valley against Central Valley when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 55-19 victory. Does West Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
