Soccer Recap: Gardena Comes Up Short

Gardena and South East squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Gardena had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South East Jaguars. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Gardena is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-5. As for South East, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Gardena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South East, they will square off against Marshall at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshall will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something South East surely won't give up without a fight.
