Basketball Game Preview: Moss Point Tigers vs. St. Patrick Fighting Irish

The Moss Point Tigers will challenge the St. Patrick Fighting Irish at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Moss Point is looking for their season's first win.

Moss Point is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Ocean Springs on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Tigers lost 59-34 to the Greyhounds.

Despite the loss, Moss Point saw an underclassman step up: freshman Terrance Coleman posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Charles Nettles, who put up five points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 54-48 to East Central.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Moss Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
