Softball Recap: Holt Triumphs

Holt took an 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Warrenton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Warriors 7-6 on Thursday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 16-5 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Holt has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs this season. As for Warrenton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Holt will face off against St. Charles West at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warrenton, they will challenge Elsberry at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
