Softball Recap: Wheeler County Wins Going Away Against Clinch County

While Wheeler County put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Clinch County. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Wheeler County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Clinch County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Wheeler County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
