Football Recap: Windom Takes a Loss

If Windom was riding high fresh off their 30-8 takedown of Martin County West last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 26-7 bruising from the Pipestone Arrows on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Arrows apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Windom's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pipestone, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Windom is set to face off against their familiar foe Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pipestone will challenge rival Minnesota Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
