Soccer Game Preview: Mission Bay vs. San Diego

The Mission Bay Buccaneers will challenge the San Diego Cavers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mission Bay's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so San Diego's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Mission Bay is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since January 10. They and University City finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Diego, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Clairemont a 4-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cavers considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

The victory got San Diego back to even at 7-7-1. With that draw, Mission Bay's record moves to 12-2-2.

Mission Bay was able to grind out a solid win over San Diego in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-0. Will Mission Bay repeat their success, or does San Diego have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
