Game recap: Eden Prairie High School Football Team beats Prior Lake

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Eden Prairie (Minn.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 35-21 win over Prior Lake (Minn.).

The Eagles scored seven points in the first quarter. Eden Prairie scored on a touchdown catch by Ryan Connelly.

After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Connelly in the first quarter, EP led 21-0 at the half.

The Eagles grew their lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. Eden Prairie's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run.

The defeat comes as a step back for Prior Lake, who notched a 40-21 victory over Eagan in its previous outing.
