Softball Recap: Marshalltown Comes Up Short

Marshalltown fell victim to Southeast Polk and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Marshalltown's defeat dropped their record down to 19-21. As for Southeast Polk, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-10 record this season.

Marshalltown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeast Polk, they will host Ankeny on Tuesday.
