Baseball Game Preview: Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets vs. Long County Blue Tide

For the second straight game, Southeast Bulloch will face off against Long County. Southeast Bulloch will head out to square off against Long County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Bulloch is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Southeast Bulloch needed a bit of extra time to put away Long County. They had just enough and edged out the Blue Tide 2-1.

Cade Harnage spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 13 Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Southeast Bulloch is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Southeast Bulloch saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhett Morgan, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Southeast Bulloch's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-9. As for Long County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
