Scotts Valley strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Gunn Titans 52-23. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Titans are ranked 166th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Isabel Jas produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. Jas is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hanna Shehorn, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 19 points and six boards.

Scotts Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Gunn, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Scotts Valley will head out on the road to take on Pacific Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gunn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-20 win against Gunderson on the 15th.
