Softball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Douglass on Wednesday, Washington came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the South Atlanta Hornets on Monday, falling 22-5. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Washington now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South Atlanta, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Washington will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Carver at 5:30 p.m. As for South Atlanta, they will face off against Coretta Scott King YWLA at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
