Soccer Recap: Clovis Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clovis was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out the Ridgeview Wolf Pack 2-1. Given Clovis' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Ridgeview are ranked 42nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Devon Richardson and Soryn Sells scored both of Clovis' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

The victory keeps Clovis at an undefeated 10-0-1. As for Ridgeview, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2.

Clovis didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Mission Oak on the 16th. As for Ridgeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Liberty on the 19th.
