Soccer Recap: AGWSR Comes Up Short

AGWSR was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks.

AGWSR's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10-2.

Looking ahead, AGWSR will face off against Webster City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Webster City will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something AGWSR surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Iowa Falls-Alden on the 10th.
