Soccer Recap: Oglethorpe County Takes a Loss

Oglethorpe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Putnam County War Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Oglethorpe County of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Oglethorpe County's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Putnam County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Oglethorpe County has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Lake Oconee Academy on the 18th. As for Putnam County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Prince Avenue Christian on the 17th.
