Kings hasn't lost a match since September 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Lakota East Thunderhawks. Given Kings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Lakota East are ranked 181st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kings is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Lakota East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-3.

Kings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakota East, they will take on Little Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakota East are facing Little Miami at the right time seeing as Little Miami are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
