Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Comes Up Short

Deer Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 51-35 bruising from the Las Lomas Knights. The Wolverines were probably out for revenge after losing 57-37 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deer Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Las Lomas, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Deer Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Concord at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Las Lomas, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-23 win against Terra Linda on the 11th.
