Archbishop Mitty had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Valley Christian Warriors a 3-0 shutout. Considering Archbishop Mitty have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sally Burns and Scarlett Martinez scored all three of Archbishop Mitty's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Archbishop Mitty's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-1.
