Softball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Cecilia hit St. Paul with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats lost 11-3 to the Bluehawks. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Bluehawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Paul saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamden Sack, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for St. Cecilia, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Coming up, St. Paul will venture away from home to challenge Twin River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for St. Cecilia, they will face off against Ord at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Chanticleers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.75 runs per game on average), something the Bluehawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
