Tift County put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Valdosta Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Cora Beth McCrary was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Braylin Dorden also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Tift County's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Valdosta, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tift County will venture away from home to challenge Appling County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valdosta, they will head out to square off against Richmond Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
