Softball Recap: Stanton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stanton had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Lenox on Friday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Stanton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lenox, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13.

As of now, neither Stanton nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
