Baseball Game Preview: Central Gwinnett Black Knights vs. Collins Hill Eagles

Central Gwinnett hasn't had much luck against Collins Hill recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Central Gwinnett will square off against Collins Hill at 5:45 p.m. Neither Central Gwinnett nor Collins Hill posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Central Gwinnett managed to slip by Mountain View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Central Gwinnett came up short against Mountain View on Friday, falling 8-0. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Central Gwinnett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jude Alderete, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to Dacula. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Falcons since March 15, 2023.

Central Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Collins Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Central Gwinnett suffered a grim 14-0 defeat to Collins Hill when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Central Gwinnett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
