Basketball Recap: Eastlake Titans vs. Poway Titans
Eastlake kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Poway Titans. Eastlake was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Poway apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordyn Pamintuan, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mikaela Nafarrete, who scored four points plus five steals.
Eastlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-23 defeat against Vincent Memorial on the 21st. Poway has also already played their next matchup, a 70-35 loss against Helix on the 19th.
