Softball Recap: Sasakwa Takes a Loss

Sasakwa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Macomb Hornets. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Sasakwa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Macomb, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Sasakwa has already played their next matchup (against Varnum), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Macomb also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Paoli.
