Football Recap: Hopkins Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Hopkins unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 49-21 loss at the hands of the Edina Hornets. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Coming up, Hopkins is headed away from home for the first time to take on East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Edina, they will welcome Wayzata at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. The match will give the Hornets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
